Berdasarkan definisinya Akuntansi merupakan seni yang dimulai dengan mencatat, menggolongkan dan meringkas transaksi dan kejadian yang bersifat keuangan dengan cara tertentu dan dalam bentuk satuan uang, serta menafsirkan hasilhasilnya. Dari definisi tersebut maka akuntansi memerlukan serangkaian tahapan yang saling berkaitan. Oleh sebab itu pelajar/mahasiswa perlu memahami dan menguasai tahapan tahapan tersebut guna menghindari beberapa kendala seperti perhitungannya antara debet dan kredit harus balance dan lain lain. Aplikasi Sistem Konversi Mata Kuliah Pada STMIK Palangkaraya Berbasis Web

The development of the technology of information at this time is growing rapidly, it can be seen through the emergence of the internet. Therefore, at this time almost all fields require the internet as a source of information. Currently, the registration system for the interest and the elective course in the study program of the information system and informatics engineering at STMIK Palangka Raya still employs the conventional method. In this case, the use of the technology of information is able to assist in facilitating the college students who want to change the study program so that they will not take the same course in the new study program. As a result, it can make it easier for the college students changing the study program to find out the equivalence of the course or the conversion, especially in the study program of Information System, Informatics Engineering, and Informatics Management. The web-based application has a competitive supremacy. One of them is that it can be accessed quickly through a browser and can be accessed using a laptop, a smartphone, or a computer at home. The methods used in this research involve the observation method, the interview method, the literature method, the documentation method, and the questionnaire/survey method, meanwhile, for the technique and instrument of analysis, it is using the Tools of Unified Modeling Language (UML), and for the testing methods, they are using the Black Box Testing and Likert Scale. The results of this research have been successfully implemented into an information system that is able to assist in the conversion of course. The results of this research have also been tested using the Black Box testing on the results of its implementation. The results of testing of the system using Black Box testing are as expected. Based on the results of the questionnaire of the respondents who are the college students and the admins (of the Study Program or Prodi), there were interpretation values which were up to 74%. Therefore, it could be assumed that the system that the author had developed has fulfilled the decent value to be published.
