Pemilihan Jurusan Menggunakan Metode SMART Pada SMKN 3 Palangka Raya

Selection of Majors Using the SMART Method at SMK 3 Palangka Raya, Supervisor I Lili Rusdiana M.Kom, Advisor II Rudini M.Pd, Many students are confused about choosing a major, some of them are not sure about their talents and some of them are chosen based on the wishes of their parents. With the calculation of the SMART method, it can help and make it easier for students to choose majors at SMKN 3 Palangka Raya. The SMART method is an efficient Decision Support System method to help solve the problems of students who have difficulty choosing majors. Even though there are many effective methods from SMART, not many people know about this method, therefore the author took the initiative to use this method to help SMKN 3 Palangka Raya in making decisions about majors that are suitable for students, as well as increasing knowledge for readers. The system created displays major recommendations for each student, in selecting this major there are 5 criteria, namely UAS scores for Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and Science subjects while in junior high school, as well as interest and talent scores. For manual and system test results have the same value results. So, the system was created to make it easier for the admin or the SMKN 3 Palangka Raya school to calculate student scores to adjust the major they choose.
