Analysis and Design of Computer Network Development at the South Barito Regent's Office, Supervisor I Herkules, S.Kom, M, Cs Supervisor II Veny Cahya Hardita, M.Kom. The South Barito Regent's Office is the center of government that takes care of all data, work procedures for regional apparatus and education in the government in South Barito Regency. The South Barito Regent's office is located on Jl. Pelita Raya No.305 F, Buntok Kota, Kec. Dusun Selatan, South Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan 73711. The South Barito Regent's office has 121 civil servants and 214 honorariums. The use of a computer network has been implemented at the South Barito Regent's Office to connect with devices in the office. Along with the development of needs by each room that requires an internet connection and the sharing of data from each room for administrative purposes, a good quality computer network service is needed. Interviews were conducted directly with Mr. Subhan Noor as administrator at the South Barito Regent's Office. The problem with the computer network in the office is that the network is often disconnected, causing the service quality to be not optimal. Quality of Service (QoS) analysis at the South Barito Regent's Office obtained measurement results at the location of the first point of the QoS parameter, namely the average value of throughput 324164 bps (Wifi + LAN) and 66.10 bps (LAN), the average value of packet loss 5.01% (Wifi+LAN) and 6.25% (LAN), and the average delay value is 186.4 ms (Wifi+LAN) and 210 ms (LAN) according to the THIPON standard as a percentage of Quality of Service at point locations the first is 83.3% which is included in the “Good” category. And the measurement results at the location of the second point of the Quality of Service parameter with an average throughput value of 393.4 bps (Wifi+LAN) and 106.7 bps (LAN), the average value of packet loss is 4.28% (Wifi+LAN) and 5.24% (LAN), and the average delay value of 1843.5 ms (Wifi+LAN) and 215.6 ms (LAN) according to THIPON standards, the percentage of Quality of Service at the second point location is 91.6% which included in the "Good" category. It can be seen that the use of a Tree network topology can cause the network at the South Barito Regent's Office to be less stable, therefore the authors provide the results of network topology design recommendations which can later be used as a reference or reference for building a LAN network at the South Barito Regent's Office so that network quality becomes better. good.
