The problem in this study is how to use the decision support system application in determining the best final project supervisor and how to apply the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for the Decision Support System for determining the Best Final Project Supervisor of the STMIK Palangkaraya Informatics Engineering Study Program. The data collection methods in this study are interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The type of research used in this study is reasearh & depelopment (R&D) to design the design of the system process made using UML, then the trial of the system using black box testing, the results of this study have been successfully implemented into a system and test system using black box testing as expected. The result of this study is a Decision Support System for Determining the Best Final Project Supervisor of the Stmik Palangkaraya Informatics Engineering Study Program Using the Simple Additive Weighting Method. The results provided by this system are more accurate because based on the results of multiplication and matrix addition normalized with weights, This system can simplify and speed up calculations because users no longer need to do literacy calculations manually by determining the minimum and maximum values, users only need to input data criteria, supervisor 1, and supervisor data 2 then the system will provide calculation results with the SAW method automatically.
